Feast terms of service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms govern your use of Feast, a Shopify app operated by We Are Eight Ltd ("Pass", "we", "our", "us"), registered office: The Island House, The Island, Midsomer Norton, Radstock, England, BA3 2DZ. By installing or using Feast you agree to these terms. Your use of Shopify remains governed by Shopify's own terms.
01/The service
Feast lets merchants create recipes and publish them to their Shopify storefront as shoppable recipe cards and a recipe hub, including structured Recipe markup, servings scaling and add-to-cart functionality. Feature availability depends on your plan, and we may add, change or remove features over time.
02/Plans, billing and trials
- Feast offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Pro is charged in USD per 30-day period through the Shopify Billing API and appears on your Shopify invoice; we never receive your payment details. Current pricing is shown in the app and on Feast's Shopify App Store listing.
- Where a free trial is offered, it applies once per store, on first paid activation. When the trial ends, the subscription charges automatically unless cancelled first.
- You can cancel Pro at any time from the app's billing page or by uninstalling. On downgrade or cancellation, Pro features stop working but your recipe content is retained subject to the Feast privacy policy's retention rules.
- Charges already invoiced by Shopify are non-refundable except where required by law or by Shopify's billing policies.
03/Your content and responsibilities
- You own the recipes, images and other content you create in Feast. You grant us the licence needed to host, process and display that content in order to operate the service.
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the content you publish — including any ingredient, dietary or food-related statements you choose to make — and for having the rights to any images you upload.
- Feast presents your content as you enter it. It does not verify food information, and nothing published through Feast should be treated as a nutritional, allergen-safety or medical claim by Pass.
04/Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Feast for unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content;
- attempt to access another store's data or circumvent plan limits or security controls;
- interfere with the operation of the service, or place abusive load on it; or
- resell or misrepresent the service as your own.
We may apply reasonable technical limits (for example upload sizes and request rates) to keep the service reliable for everyone.
05/Availability and support
We aim to keep Feast fast and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support is available at support@madebypass.com; we aim to reply within two UK business days.
06/Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from your use of Feast, and our total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid for Feast in that period. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
07/Termination
You can stop using Feast at any time by uninstalling it, after which data is handled as described in the Feast privacy policy. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms or where required to protect the service, other merchants or Shopify's platform.
08/General
- We may update these terms from time to time; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
- These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
